Ensure data integrity for accurate product, position management, and margin reporting in the risk system
Work with IT to simplify and streamlining of customer volume forecasting processes
Work with Operations to understand processes and ensure minimal margin erosion
Ensuring all data to support hedging and pricing decisions is available, complete and accurate
Work with Portfolio team to support hedging strategies around our evergreen customers and planning decision
Work in conjunction with portfolio, pricing, commercial and sales teams to keep abreast of growth initiatives, new products and help improve processes and execution
4+ years of experience in retail and wholesale electricity markets specifically ERCOT and / or USN markets (PJM, NE, NY and MISO)
Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, and Word; VBA coding experience is a plus
Experience with OpenLink Endur would be a plus
Experience working with large data, forecasting, energy trading, scheduling, pricing, structuring or risk management roles with direct exposure to retail electricity operations
Must be result-driven, self-motivated with extensive attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical skills with the ability to process information from a variety of sources, understand key insights, develop well thought out commercial recommendations
