Hours : 08.00 16.30hrs Mon- Fri with overtime including weekends available

Job Vacancy : Electrical Fitter

We are looking for experienced Electrical Fitters, preferably with Marine Experience for MST New build and Service Department.

The role would suit somebody with experience in low voltage DC electrical / electronic systems with the ability to diagnose faults, including engine electrics and associated ancillary equipment, and read / follow technical drawings and schematics

Required Qualification / Skills

  • Panel wiring / automotive electrical experience would be an asset to the role.
  • Time served / Apprentice Trained Electrician or equivalent Electrical Qualification.
  • Competent to fault find using digital multi meter and diagnostic tools
  • Extensive experience & ability to read schematic diagrams
  • Good attention to detail / quality
  • Experience / Knowledge of Low power DC electrical systems.
  • Good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work on their own or part of a team
  • Desired Skills

  • Experience working on small marine craft
  • Knowledge of marine navigation electronics
  • Experience of working within a new build or repair and maintenance environment
