JOB PURPOSE / ROLE

Based in London or Munich and part of IT department of AGCS, you will be in charge of managing and designing the AGCS IT landscape for a given area of responsibility (Information Security / IT Compliance) in order to deliver an integrated solution and standardized approach.

This requires a deep understanding on business drivers, as well as technical and functional requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to IT Improvements, particularly in cases of failures and ensure that there are no losses to the Business through non-
  • availability or poor performance and provide suggestions or feedback to other departments in IT and the Business regarding improvement measures from the Expert perspective

  • Responsible for designing and planning within the given area of Expertise, including future / upcoming projects in coordination with the respective Line Manager and Demand Manager
  • Provide technical and solution clarifications and guidance to stakeholders and team
  • Where required functionally lead a team of senior specialists / analysts / team leaders and other job roles that are geographically dispersed and ensuring continuity of process and service when required
  • Coordinate your team and abide by the AGCS staff management procedures i.e. success factors and communicating strategy
  • Responsible for ensuring the employees in the team have the relevant skills set and ensure that adequate trainings are provided
  • Manage cost center budget within plan of your department
  • Ensure that documentation is maintained on a regular basis and be accountable for the quality and completeness
  • Communicate (and / or train as necessary) on documentation content, keep up-to-date IT design, architectural, policy and specification documentation
  • Manage, define and create monthly reports in line with current KPI
  • Support teams within the AGCS IT Department with ad-hoc requests from management and stakeholders and positively influence key, strategic position stakeholders across locations and functions
  • Monitor the realization of concepts and act as escalation instance
  • Manage 3rd party service providers
  • KEY REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • University degree in Information Systems, Information Management or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-7 years’ of IT professional experience ideally financial services sector
  • IT Management Experience
  • Project Management Experience (preferred)
  • Experience of working internationally and remotely managing a global team
  • Knowledge of data warehouse principles and methodologies : Kimbal, Inmon, Data vault, etc.
  • Design and Develop the ETL component using Java Xtext based DSL (Data Store Loader) and code generation framework for modeling the entities of the Data Vault 2.0
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in implementation of the Data Vault 2.0
  • Generation of the ETL routines needed for creating and maintaining the Data Vault 2.0 model
  • Analyze data requirements, complex source data, and the data model, and determine the best methods in integrating data from multiple source systems
  • Experience in Agile methodology preferred
  • Communication and change Management skills
  • English and German fluency
