Aker Solutions' Reliability and Maintenance service team based in Aberdeen need a Reliability and Maintenance Engineer -
Electrical who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans. We are looking for a strong reliability background preferably but not essential within the Oil and Gas industry, performed RCM studies, Spare optimisation from a risk base perspective and RCA.
The role will involve : -
Developing costed proposals and support ITT submissions. Conducting & managing R&M projects, RAM studies and Reliability analysis.
This role also entails applying knowledge of Reliability & Maintenance analysis within R&M projects. Application of analysis software such as MAROS and Bi-
Cycle in the delivery of project. Providing input to AIM processes and procedures
Responsibilities and Tasks
Ensure that all Aker Solutions and our Clients Quality Management Systems are implemented. Implementation and correct use of all Aker Solutions and Total processes and procedures
Adherence to control systems to ensure adherence to schedule, budget and quality requirements
Direct interface and liaison with other departments within Aker Solutions
Liaise with other disciplines within AIM as required e.g. Integrity / inspection and Management
Provide information and assistance in a timely and efficient manner
Ensure clear and accurate information required in projects
Liaise with project resources to ensure information / data is accurate and up to date.
Provide assistance to projects where and when required
Be aware that all injuries, occupational illnesses, material losses and environmental damage incidents are preventable
Promote all actions in support of both Aker Solutions and Client’s HSE programmes and culture
Qualifications and Personal Qualities
Degree qualification in Reliability Engineering or equivalent field.
Relevant offshore / site experience
Experience working the CMMS’, e.g. SAP, MAXIMO, JD Edwards
Data analytics such as reliability analysis and statistical analysis around failure data
Level 2 qualified in Condition Monitoring
Conversant with appropriate technical software, e.g. RAM analysis, BI-Cycle etc.
Experienced in performing Reliability Centered Maintenance analysis and Root Cause Analysis
Understanding of Risk Based Strategy development
Sound working knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards
Minimum 10 years working within a Reliability & Maintenance environment
