Working in a friendly team this is an exciting opportunity to become involved in the rapidly growing area of community-based clinical homecare.
The position will allow you to maintain your nursing registration and provides full support for mandatory training and PREP / revalidation requirements.
You will be involved with a vast range of therapies and full training will be provided.
You will be required to work without direct supervision to provide a range of oral, subcutaneous and infusional therapies in an out of hospital environment.
You will bring infusional therapy expertise to this role along with a qualification in oncology or chemotherapy administration.
A registered nurse / RGN / RN with excellent customer facing skills and confident computer skills, you will be conscientious, accurate, organised, reliable and able to communicate at all levels.
You enjoy working as part of a team, but are also self motivated and able to work autonomously.
The job predominantly involves training patients / carers in the home environment to self medicate, whether that is through infusions or self injecting.
There is also a requirement to meet with NHS customers as directed by the company to develop working relationships with them.
You must have a valid, current NMC registration and the right to work in the UK. You will also require a full driving license.
Full clinical induction and supervised practice will be provided during your probationary period. You will have an opportunity to identify learning needs and the nursing team will work closely with you to ensure these needs have been met in order for you to fully perform within this exciting role.
