The Adult Safeguarding Team leads in the continuous improvement of vulnerable adult protection. Team members work to implement the Interagency Adult Protection Policy and to improve the quality of the response in protecting vulnerable adults.
If you are someone who can provide a range of organisational and administrative support to a busy team, then this could be the role for you.
You will coordinate and support the day-to-day activities of the Adult Safeguarding Team, to include meeting schedules and recording minutes at strategy meetings and case conferences.
You will also receive enquiries from members of the public and other agencies, and direct them to the appropriate person, so the need to communicate effectively, as well as being sensitive and discrete, is vital.
The work can be challenging, with tight deadlines, so the ability to work under pressure is essential.
The successful applicant will have knowledge of Adult Safeguarding and proven experience in working flexibly as part of a team.
This post will be based at the Cardiff Bay Police Station and requires completion of the Police vetting process. Some work will be undertaken in County Hall.
This post is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced checks.
