AECOM is currently seeking to hire Transportation Analyst to be based from any of it's London offices including Wimbleon, Croydon & St Albans.
This role will sit as part of a team of UK&I FP&A Team reporting directly to the FP&A Manager. The key purpose of this role is to support the FP&A Manager by being a key contact for the Operational finance team.
The role will take the lead in supporting the Transportation team in an analyst capacity, and in addition to owning the aggregation of UK&I P&L reporting.
The role will also provide ad-hoc support as required to the FP&A Manager, UK&I finance team, other smaller end markets and the EMIA FP&A Team.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead responsibility for the financial planning and analyst support to the Transportation end market, as well as responsibility for the overall UK&I P&L financial analysis and reporting.
Support Operational Finance in understanding the End Market performance
Partner with Operational Finance and the EMIA FP&A team to develop reporting package to support End Market reporting structure.
Support monthly forecasting process for End Market and P / L across UK&I
Support annual planning process for End Market and P / L across UK&I
Supports in weekly utilisation reviews challenging operations to drive business improvement
Supports in Gross Margin analysis challenging operations to drive business improvement
Supports all Sources of Revenue requirements
Analysis and Reporting of consolidated UK&I performance, including trending, R&O, KPIs, YoY comparatives.
Assist in preparing analysis, commentary and presentation material for the monthly and quarterly financial and operational review meetings
Develop thorough analysis and explanation of variance drivers, both financial and operational
Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified.
Be a team player across the Finance Team
Advanced excel skills are critical
Strong analytical & problem solving skills essential
Must be pro-active and demonstrate ability to see things through to the end
Very high attention to detail
Strong oral written communications skills
