We are looking for an analytical, experienced and creative Communications Manager to work on scaling our marketing and growth activities for the business activities and partnerships globally.
You’ll help to shape, deliver and execute the strategy and activity for our partner side of the business, to drive growth through highly-
creative and high-performing marketing activities.

Core Responsibilities :
Develop the PR and communications strategy for the partner side of the business
Distil key messages from across the business and use these to inform communication plans.
Actively monitor competitor and peer corporate brand communication messaging and approaches, and our comparative strengths and weaknesses.
Make reactive and proactive communications approaches based on your research
Lead large multi-layered / channel communication plans and campaigns
Constantly seeking out leading edge developments, and innovating new creative concepts that push the boundaries of the conventional in communications techniques and channels.
Manage an events manager to develop the events and conferences strategy for the industry (airline, travel and travel technology) ensuring we that we have a presence in the right industry based events, with support provided on messaging for that specific audience to deliver against our overall strategy.
Leverage internal channel expertise (social, content) and lead collaboration efforts to achieve greater impact and coverage.
Lead the briefing of senior personnel and are an able and effective spokesperson. You develop key stakeholder relationships internally and externally as appropriate.
With external stakeholders, you lead a tailored approach to :
Handle media / journalist pitching and inquiries, opportunities and press exposure
Create strategic plans to target titles / journalists over the short and medium term
Manage media training requirements and understand who is best placed to speak on behalf of the company in given situations
Ensure our senior spokesperson time is used effectively - that we have a presence in the right global forums, at the right level, with support provided on messaging for that specific audience to deliver against our overall strategy
With internal stakeholders, you lead a tailored approach to :
Proactively manage the global industry communications and events calendar, ensuring a blend of communication approaches are used across campaigns
Manage the global internal communications and events network
We are looking for :
Proven experience in PR and communications in a sizable company with complex structure
Experience in dealing with global and regional business media
Have experience of working in a lean and agile environment with hands on experience of relevant techniques and tools
Proficient use of tools e.g. PR monitoring, Hubspot or similar email tool, Salesforce, website CMS e.g. Squarespace, Tableau, Google Analytics.
Analytical Skills strong attention to detail and ability to deal with ambiguity and apply logical, structured approaches to solving problems.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with ability to articulate complex ideas to a range of audiences, simply.
