My client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of innovativetransport management technologies, providing state of the artservices including ticketing systems, automated payment,information managment systems and revenue control technologies.

The Role - Field ServiceEngineer (Fare Collection / TicketingSystems)

Following expansion, my client seeks to recruit a customerfocused and highly motivated Field Service Engineer, responsiblefor developing customer relationships and servicing and maintaininga range of innovative fare collection and ticketing equipment.

Therole will involve carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance,fault-finding and repairing a range of electronic andelectro-mechanical systems.

Your Background - Field ServiceEngineer (Fare Collection / TicketingSystems)

To apply you should have experience in a field service ortechnical support role, working on electronics, electro-mechanicalor PC-

controlled capital equipment. Ideally you will have atechnical qualification, such as City & Guilds 224, ONC or HNCin Electronic / Electrical Engineering.

You should have strong board level electronics fault finding andservice skills and good PC hardware knowledge. Any experience ofrepairing car parking, ticketing or fare automation systems orautomatic doors would be beneficial.

Alternatively you may have worked on a wide range of capitalequipment including : ATM, gaming, vending, office equipment or PCs.

Any exposure to coin-operated mechanisms, note validators,ticketing machines, payment machines, automatic barriers or gateswould also be beneficial.
