As a Security Solutions Architect supporting Alliances, you are a partner focused, pre-sales technical business development professional who provides support, enablement, and guidance to FireEye partners such as;
Technology Alliance Partners, Global Service Providers (GSP) and their respective clients. You will be expected to take ownership of the technical design and management of global alliance based initiatives and programs relating to technical architecture, solutions delivery, partner training and enablement as well as working internally to represent the needs of Alliances Organization.
The ideal candidate will have a good mix of deep technical knowledge and business acumen in the security market place. In this position you will be leading the development and execution of technology strategies and solutions integrations to meet strategic corporate and partner needs, present and future.
Primary role is to Identify, create, and manage key technical relationships, developing solutions and / or creating complementary products / services to integrate into the partner portfolio producing strategic sales opportunities.
Engage with Partners in the business development process to understand partner / client requirements, technical objectives, and capabilities.
Shape, design, and plan specific service lines to be used as a blueprint within the global alliances organization. These activities will include customer meetings, product development / management / marketing review, systems integration lab work and drive the partner specific certification processes.
Be a subject matter expert, center of excellence, and key resource for partners and FireEye to leverage in the information security and Cyber Security market place.
Demonstrate and communicate value of FireEye strategic alliances to business and technical leaders. Ability to express complex technical concepts in concise and understandable layman’s terms.
Facilitate cross-team collaboration for globally distributed organizations supporting GSP and Consulting Partners, while evangelizing strategy, enforcing best practices and incorporating feedback from internal resources, partners and clients alike.
Ensure proposals are technically sound, deliverable, competitive and representative of market leadership.
Leveraged as SME in Developing Technical Solution documents, programs, architectural designs, and Engineering / development efforts as well as field demonstration.
Proven experience in a Solutions Architect or Sr. Pre-Sales SE or Technical Marketing Engineering role.
Business development experience in a consulting and / or services environment
Proven expereince in a security focused technical lead and / or solutions architect role
B.S. / B.A. / M.S. degree or equivalent experience / technical training
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Deep understanding of Modern Malware Lifecycle, Malware / Forensic Analysis, Cyber Security, threat landscape, and the overall value of intelligence
Understanding of both network and host based security solutions (HBSS) such as; Anti-virus, IPS / IDS, Firewall, Proxy, etc.
Industry Certifications highly desirable such as : CISSP, ITIL, Ethical Hacker, SANS etc
Ability to travel extensively
Optional : Understanding of Linux troubleshooting and administration
Optional : Experienced in Structured Query Language
Optional : Scripting experience in Bash and / or Python
Optional : Product Management experience
Optional : malware / forensic analysis, and / or Incident Response
