We support a gentleman who has a learning disability in Scarborough. We are looking to expand our team of dedicated, enthusiastic Support Workers.
The type of support you will provide would be based around administering medication, prompting people on personal care and offering support to encourage them to become as independent as possible.
Being a support worker isn’t just about making day to day life easier, it’s about having fun! Fun with these this individual could be anything from doing arts and crafts, doing paper-
mache projects, or even going on a day or night out.
Supporting someone with their daily life is not a 9-5 job. You will need to be able to work across a range of different days and shift patterns, including some sleep in shifts.
We realise that your quality time is important too, so your rota is prepared well in advance Got a request, something special going on?
Your manager will certainly try to help you meet it.
