Overview :

The team is part of the Trade Finance Technology group and is responsible for managing and delivering the Book-of-Work for Financial Supply Chain.

This business is a key contributor to the Global Transaction Bank’s revenue growth targets.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Documenting business requirements in the form of user stories, working closely with the relevant Product Managers
  • Reviewing Functional Requirement specifications to ensure they meet the business requirement, working closely with Application Manager, Functional Analysts and Solution Architects
  • Communicating the proposed requirement specifications with all stakeholders including interface technology partners & Production Support to deliver the requirements effectively within the agreed timeliness & cost
  • Co-ordinating and support testing on behalf users, operations and testing teams including reviewing test plan, test cases and test scenarios
  • Maintaining a good relationship with the key business representatives identified for each enhancement / project.
  • Supporting the application management area for functional area trouble shooting and resolution to reported bugs on the application.
  • Ensuring stakeholder awareness, engagement, and communication
  • Analysing and identify possible risks and issues that could impact delivery and either resolve them or escalate as appropriate
  • Tracking the status of deliverables and pro-actively address risks and issues
  • Ensuring that the project work is compliant with documented standards, templates, and frameworks including the Programme Governance Framework
  • Skills & Qualifications :

  • Experience in Financial Services with a good understanding of Trade Finance products and in-depth knowledge of Supply Chain Finance products is essential
  • Highly experienced in software development projects with proven track-record of project management and business and functional analysis
  • Technically literate and able to work closely with architects, software developers and testers
  • Experience of working in a diverse, globally-distributed team
  • Strong and stakeholder management skills and ability to build strong working relationships
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently to tight deadlines whilst maintaining high quality standards
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Good interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Educated to Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification / relevant work experience
