A vital front-line role in which you will provide support groups, workshops and other early intervention activities at Slough’s Children’s Centres for vulnerable families with young children.

Deputy Early Years Manager

As the Deputy to the Centre Operational Manager, you will help to manage the early years services and other operational aspects of the Children’s Centre.
For this role, you will need well-developed management skills, in-depth knowledge of childcare regulations and legislation and significant experience of working in a senior position in the early years sector.
Senior Early Years Practitioner

In this key post within the Children’s Centres, you will lead the daily operation and administration of an early years room, providing excellent educational experiences and care for the children and supervision for members of staff.
Early Years Practitioner
1 full time and 8 part-time posts
Salary : £20,354 - £21,982 pro-rata Ref : 04-1092
As an excellent early years practitioner, you will provide a high quality learning environment for children aged 0 to 8 at a Children’s Centre, ensuring that the needs of the children are fully met.
1 part-time post 27.5 hours per week
Salary : £18,589 19,778 pro rata Ref : 04-1097
You will be responsible for providing healthy nutritious meals to the children, following our menus, as well as ordering food, stock control and upkeep of the kitchen.
General Support Assistant
1 part-time post 12 hours per week
Salary : £17,771 £18,299 pro rata Ref : 04-1094
In this important operational post, you will provide a high quality support service at a Children’s Centre, including reception, administration, housekeeping and catering duties.
3 part-time posts each 20 hours per week
Salary : £17,663 pro rata Ref : 04-1096
An essential post within the Children’s Centres, in which you will provide a high quality housekeeping service including laundry, cleaning and catering duties.
