Are you an experienced in Service Charges? Robertson Bell are working in close partnership with a leading Housing provider in West London to source a Service Charge Officer to join their lively, dynamic and hard-
working team. With an upcoming increase in the number of homes the team will be responsible for, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with relevant service charge experience in Housing to apply their knowledge in a rapidly growing organisation with excellent future prospects.
Surrounded by a growing but close-knit team of Service Charge Officers, you will be responsible for a set portfolio of residences and will monitor and account for all service charges relating to these properties.
There is a wide range of property and let types, including shared ownership, leasehold, market rent and commercial units, meaning that the role will require significant understanding of service charges and Section 20 recharges.
Applicants are expected to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Service Charges in order to demonstrate experience of multiple service charge cycles.
Minimal training is on offer so the successful candidate will need to be able to hit the ground running.
As a customer facing role, the successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, and an in depth understanding of the challenges involved in such a role.
You will be able to field service charge enquiries professionally and competently and represent the organisation in a positive manner.
An IRPM qualification will be highly advantageous in securing this role.
