We are looking for a passionate Pastry Chef to join our busy Patisserie team on our family at Daylesford.
Full time contract, 40 hours per week (one Sunday a month). Shifts are generally spread between 6 am to 4 pm.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Pastry Chef at Daylesford you will be working alongside our dedicated Patisserie team at our organic farm in rural Gloucestershire, producing the highest-
quality Patisserie products for sale in our four Daylesford Organic Farm Shops and via our Wholesale customers. You will be striving to deliver the best performance in order to ensure that all work is completed efficiently, safely and appropriately.
Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in either a restaurant / hotel or food production environment is essential. You will be working within a fast-
paced, varied and extremely rewarding environment.
A successful candidate should possess a strong team-playing attributes with a passion for Patisserie specifically, cooking in general, and great quality organic produce.
We are looking for an open, honest and tolerant individual, someone who has a positive can-do’ attitude, an eagerness to learn and develop, should take pride in their work, and never overlook poor standards.
You will be working within a fast-paced, varied and extremely rewarding environment, and your duties will include the following : basic food preparation, packing, cleaning and general kitchen duties.
Experience is not essential but would be of an advantage.
