Our researchers track and prevent contamination of crops, animal feeds and foods. They help detect fraud along the supply chain and develop advanced food provenance systems, help to improve the quality of crops and the health of farm animals and their resistance to disease.
The Research Fellow will take a leading role in a collaborative US-Ireland R&D Partnership Programme project that aims to research and develop novel marker-
based disease detection strategies. The successful candidate will coordinate the planning and delivery of project activities and tasks so that the overall research objectives are met and will also assist in the development of related research proposals.
