  • Job Description We are currently looking to recruit Assistant Managers who can make a significant contribution to the Financial Services Operations Practice in one or more of our core Financial Services business lines : Retail & Commercial Banking;
  • Insurance; Wealth & Asset Management. Successful candidates will help grow the FS Operations practice, through support for business development activities, developing value propositions and playing a lead role in client engagement and assignment delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Client assignment management and delivery. Formulate innovative propositions and solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships within the sector, leveraging proven Banking industry content and delivery capability.
  • Provide business development support.
  • Job Requirements

  • Project / programme management (to include proven methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE II, MSP) and demonstrable strong client delivery capabilities.
  • Production of high quality client deliverables
  • Solution development, showing a clear ability as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to enhance existing solutions, and develop new ones, with specific emphasis on Transformation Leadership and Operational Excellence.
  • Team player with demonstrable people management skills.
  • Skills and Experience

  • Retail & Commercial Banking / Insurance / Wealth & Asset Management experience with exposure to significant programmes of Operational Change.
  • Prior experience either working for a bank / insurance company / wealth & asset management company, or as a consultant operating in these sectors -
  • working on large scale, complex business / regulatory change programmes

  • Understanding of the key industry, market and regulatory drivers shaping the FS industry and an ability to identify client opportunities.
  • Key areas of interest include : Subject matter areas :

  • Robotics; Data Analytics; Digital Operations; Digital Innovation; Artificial Intelligence; Sales & Service Transformation;
  • Enterprise Modelling; Change Management; Operational Excellence : Target Operating Model.

    Control Functions :

    Product Control; Front Office; Middle Office; Operations; Risk & Control; Treasury; Finance; Collections; Settlements; Confirmations.

    Industry Products

    Rates; Credit; FX; Equities; Commodities; Money Market; Savings; Lending / Underwriting; Insurance; Wealth Management; Asset Management

  • Strong interpersonal & written communication skills.
  • Self-starter and strong team player.
  • Commercially minded to be able to identify opportunities
  • Ability to quickly and decisively understand client issues and provide appropriate solutions
  • Ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders at all levels within client organisations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation
  • Demonstrable facilitation and influencing skills
  • Experience of producing high quality deliverables in a change programme environment
