Fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious SECRETARIAL MANAGER who is looking to move into a new and challenging role all of which is on offer in this exciting and dynamic international law firm.
This person will be principally responsible for all aspects of the secretarial service staffing, induction training, employee relations, assignment of tasks, performance evaluations, individual development, absence management, discipline and cost control and should have proven experience in all these areas as you will be supervising up to 80 secretaries.
Candidates should be a graduate or have a very good secondary education. Preferably 2-3 year’s supervisory and / or secretarial team coordination experience.
Good supervising skills. Basic knowledge of employment legislation. Regularly has to prioritise competing demands in a pressurised environment.
Knowledge of the firm’s policies and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Word 2007 (to include styles, tables and track changes.
