The Role :
Our client are looking for an Internal Sales Account Manager to join their team in North Somerset.
You will receive a salary circa £21,000 - £22,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus OTE of approx. £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, as well as great benefits including company pension scheme, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, free parking as well as excellent training and development schemes.
The working hours are also great as they are working Monday - Friday 08.30 - 5.00 pm.
This is an exciting opportunity if you thrive in a sales role, and have experience in sales or a target driven environment.
The role will comprise of new business to business sales, as well as working with existing clients and account managing.
You will need to enjoy making sales calls, focusing on new business and be driven by success!
win back; cross selling), source new sales opportunities through prospecting and cold calling, research accounts, identify decision makers and generate interest, provide office based support to external account managers, support group sales campaign initiatives, close sales and achieve monthly / quarterly KPIs, employ diligent analysis of product and market data in order to maximise profits, input and maintain data to ensure a functional and effective sales pipeline.
Account management duties to include - account management, maintain regular contact with existing customer base, understand customer needs and requirements, liaise with other departments within the depot, handle client-
based escalations from customer service team.
The Ideal Candidate
As the ideal candidate, you will need to be driven and enjoy sales, or keen to progress your sales career. It is imperative that you have a proven track record of exceeding targets within a telephony based role.
Experience of sales either face to face or via telephone, an understanding of sales principles, a confident and personable nature, the ability to prioritise, delegate and monitor and the ability to communicate well with all interfaces and relationships will all be very welcomed skills and experience.
