Underpinning our ability to meet these commitments is the intent to create products and services based on a deep understanding of users, their experiences and how that affects behaviours and an ability to test and learn.
To enable that we are recruiting four pivotal roles to join our Product Design practice.
As a Product Owner, you will have a significant impact on the lives of those we serve; some of the most vulnerable people in society.
We are looking for Product Owners to lead the transformation of services in three areas working age unemployed and low income workers (Universal Credit), people with disabilities or health conditions and people saving for or in retirement.
Regardless of which product area you chose, your empowering and collaborative leadership style, your commitment to understanding and meeting user needs and your digital expertise will translate the transformation opportunities.
We are developing some of the most exciting, challenging and important digital products in the UK and we need the best people in industry to help deliver them.
With experience of leading the design, delivery and management of live, large-scale consumer focused digital products, in a large scale corporate or government transformation within a complex organization, you will be accustomed to interpreting a complex range of needs and outcomes to deliver high performing, secure products that respond to the needs of a diverse range of users.
With excellent well-rounded leadership attributes, you will be accustomed to leading large agile, multi-disciplinary groups of experts to meet a vision.
You will be an exceptional practitioner and thought leader, able and willing to contribute to the development of other product professionals in your region to drive consistency, share best practice and deliver outstanding outcomes.
A first-class communicator, you will operate with the gravitas and flexibility to influence at all levels, for example liaising with Ministers, digital communities and supplier communities alike to strike a balance between strategic innovation, user needs and operational pragmatism.
These challenging roles offer an important opportunity not only to have a real and long-lasting impact on the way the Civil Service approaches product management, but also to improve the lives of those we serve.
