Cobham Plc are looking for an ambitious HR professional to join as a HR Administrator and begin a career journey through our organisation.

Your role will be focussed approximately 60% on administering HR support to Cobham Plc and 40% focussed on providing executive support to the EVP Human Resources & Communications.

The role is a development position with the view that the right candidate, dependant on their experience, will advance their HR career with us after around 2-

3 years in post and CIPD sponsorship may also be considered.

This role is based in Wimborne, Dorset.

As a HR Administrator your skills and qualifications will ideally include :

  • Work experience within HR as an Administrator or Advisor
  • A CIPD or HR related qualification would be highly desirable
  • Excellent IT skills and confident using all Microsoft office programs
  • A strong personal brand and ability to communicate confidently to all levels of an organisation
  • Excellent organisation & prioritisation skills (the dual nature of the role will mean managing conflicting priorities)
  • High integrity with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • High energy with clear aspirations to grow a career in HR
  • As a HR Administrator your main responsibilities may involve :

  • Responsibility for on boarding all new Plc. employees and managing the leaver process
  • Using HR Systems in order to maintain accurate employee records, process starters, leavers, transfers, promotions, run reports etc.
  • Management of high quality data for the use of compiling weekly & monthly reports, presentations, correspondence and agreements
  • Handling and consolidation of sensitive data (e.g. assessment information)
  • Participate as a member of the HR Team to provide general HR support
  • Assist with conducting interviews
  • Executive Support to the EVP Human Resources & Communications, your main responsibilities may involve :

  • Secretarial support for the Executive Vice President HR and Communications
  • Arrange any travel or logistic arrangements
  • Diary Management
  • Prepare presentational materials
  • Drafting of HR communications as required
