As Microsoft Business Intelligence Primary Capability Lead at Senior Manager grade, you would be focused on the design and management of the successful delivery of end to end enterprise BI and Analytics solutions which utilize Microsoft Azure and AWS Cloud Technology and services.
Microsoft BI PCL’s typically have :
BI, or consulting experience, preferably including customer management engagements
Proven BI architectural experience using standard methodologies e.g. TOGAF
Experience of managing BI delivery teams
Understanding of BI, concepts and methods including Kimball and Data Vault modelling techniques
Solid experience in traditional SQL Server technologies(Preferable) Experience in Azure technologies, use cases and implementation
Ability to demonstrate Microsoft technologies confidently and articulate the strengths of the technology and shape these messages around specific business challenges
Proven technical skills and ability to deliver client facing enterprise ready BI platforms.
Management of successful delivery of projects, to budget and client satisfaction, mitigating risk and ensuring the highest level of quality is maintained throughout the project lifecycle
Provide Technical leadership across the project team
To manage the Technical delivery of end-to-end BI solutions and platforms.
Understand and address Business requirements to ensure appropriate delivery and technology choices are made
To be able to present complex technical concepts and ideas in a business forum appropriately
To assist the sales team on occasional pre-sales opportunities
Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain positive client relationships
Demonstrable good presentation skills and a willingness to be active in the surrounding MS BI ecosystem (e.g. white paper generation / user groups / networking / speaking / blogging etc)
