Role purpose :

The Advertising team is responsible for the creation, updating, versioning and delivery of both Betfair and Paddy Power’s TV and Radio advertising both globally, in the UK and Ireland.

Working closely with i) our internal Campaigns team and ii) our creative agencies, the Advertising team mange the end to end delivery process of adverts in-

house. From script ideation, master edits, on screen GFX, sound design through to clearance and delivery to TV stations.

Based in the London studio, this role is focussed primarily on editing video content, with some requirement to shoot video content for a variety of sponsorship activations.

  • Social video content is also a key part of the role with multiple versions of material needed for both brands to maximise every possible channel.
  • Accountabilities :

    1.Creation and editing of Betfair & Paddy Power TV adverts from detailed briefs for broadcast in the UK and Internationally.

    2.Updating of exisiting adverts offers, claims and legal text from detailed campaign briefs.

    3.Editing of social versions of TV adverts, changing durations, resolution and on screen text.

    4.Management of the Clearcast approval process from scripts, rough-cuts to final clocks.

    5.Delivering adverts globally using the Adbank system to TV stations.

    6.Editing longer form social sponsorship content in various resolutions adding subtitles where needed.

    7.Filming internal and external content for sharing on social channels.

    Required Experience :

  • 3+ years’ experience in a media company, agency, freelance or professional environment;
  • Proven editing skills in Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Additional knowledge of the Adobe creative suite would be beneficial.
  • Excellent planning and organisation and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Working closely with external suppliers including sound studio, gfx design agency, Clearcast and Adstream.
  • Experience with Sony FS7 and DSLR cameras, lighting and sound equipment an advantage;
  • Planning of storyboards, filming, editing and delivering the final end product;
  • Ability to build relations with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Flexible working is essential with some weekend work and overseas travel.
