At Airbus we rely on our Engineers to keep our Carrier Grade network up and running, which means we invest heavily in our staff.
We're happy to progress people from CCNA / CCNP level to CCDP level and to provide study leave.
This role can be based at Stevenage OR Hawthorn, you will be working with a team of 7 Engineers who belong to a bigger team of 50 Engineers who belong to the Skynet 5 Engineering team.
Occasional travel is expected to the Ground Station installations and customer locations in the UK. As part of the role there may also be a requirement to travel to customer installations overseas.
This post would suit someone from a Network Design Architect, Technical Architect, Technical IP Consultant / SME or Senior Systems Engineer background.
The successful candidate will need to be eligible to gain UK SC Security Clearance to undertake the role.

Stellenanforderungen - Qualifikationen
We're looking for the *right* person, rather than a shopping list.
The role requires someone who is CCNA / CCNP Qualified, with an interest and ability to gain CCDP.
You must have a design / architect background from either IP Networks or large-scale Enterprise WAN environments.
You must have experience of both Pre-and Post-Sales Design.
You must have belief in your knowledge, but to know you don't know it all - sometimes your team members know something too.
Any experience of VOIP, MPLS, Encryption would be nice - but we're happy to train you up in these technologies.
