An exciting opportunity has arisen to join CGL Newcastle (Treatment and Recovery Newcastle) in delivering a high quality, responsive service based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
The service delivers diverse interventions in a multiagency environment (in custody areas and within the community) on a 1-
1 basis and in group work settings.
The successful candidate must be a highly skilled trainer with an excellent understanding of the issues facing those who use substances, and the impact that substance misuse has on the wider community.
This post will involve writing relevant, and engaging training programmes, as well as delivering and updating existing programmes.
In addition to seeking opportunities for service development in your work across Newcastle upon Tyne, this role includes working with community members, Public Health England, Newcastle city council and stakeholders so networking and communication skills will be vital to this role’s success.
