What is the product?

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our busy office in Glasgow City Centre for motivated Motor ClaimsHandlers with excellent customer service skills to join our expanding team.

With full responsibility for each motor claim they deal with, you ll need to be calm, empathetic and reassuring so you can guide the caller through the claim details.

This call is where the claims journey begins.

Do you fit the bill?

You will be expected to gather all the accident information that is available, make an initial decision on liability and start the claims process by appointing relevant suppliers where necessary.

It is essential that we ensure the customer is clear on the claims process and their expectations are managed right from the outset, so previous experience within motor is benefical.

We ll provide you with the relevant training to do the job and ensure that any questions and support you need are met. You can also expect a structured approach to career progression supporting you to have the diverse career you d expect from a global claims management and loss adjusting company.

Claims can range from third party Liability through to Personal Injury and Total Loss, but we ll give you the training and knowhow to indentify the nature of each claim, how to gain as much detail as possible from the claimants and the best course of action to take for our valued customers and clients alike.

Ideally you will have :

  • Experience of dealing with motor insurance claims
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • A positive and pro-active attitude to exceeding client and customer expectations
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • IT literacy
