Claxton, an Acteon company, is seeking a driven Brand and Marketing Coordinator to help develop the Claxton, Acteon, Acteon FLS and wider clusters brand / s and ensure their integrity across all inbonund digital channels and routes to market.

Help develop and grow the Claxton, Acteon, Acteon FLS and wider cluster brand / s

Assist with the development of marketing project plan / s and supporting processes for the Head of Brand and Marketing

Development and coordination of marketing and content activity across all channels to market, ensuring adherence to the marketing plan / s

Support Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, and Product Leaders with their marketing needs

Administration responsibility of all inbound marketing platforms and channels

Provide recommendations on continuous marketing improvement

Manage and update content for the Claxton, Acteon, Acteon FLS and wider cluster website / s

Help with marketing automation to convert website visitors into leads, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) so that they convert to customers

Determine sources for content creation, both internally and externally

Edit content produced by your colleagues, including conceptualizing the projects upfront and copy-editing prior to publishing

Author various types of articles on a wide range of researched topics for our thought leadership industry blogs. Ensuring copy is optimized for search engines

Assist in the preparation of e-Newsletters, e-Campaigns, press releases and advertising and coordination of distribution

Build and help manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and potentially additional channels

Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence

Explore new ways to engage with new social networks to reach target buyers

Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread our brand / s reach

Perform market research activity as defined by the Head of Brand and Marketing

Collate and prepare marketing statistics, analyse that data against predefined targets and contribute ideas and suggest areas of improvement

Conduct analytical projects to improve blog strategies / tactics including SEO

Manage content on the Claxton Intranet

Compile and administer financial and statistical information including budget spreadsheets and reports

Maintain the CRM Database for all regions - keep the marketing stakeholder database / s up-to-date, importing new data, updating records and performing weekly / monthly checks

Manage and monitor the Claxton corporate email inbox to deliver a first-class service focusing on customer satisfaction and responding to customer’s needs

Administer FPAL and Achilles databases and associated content including client references and testimonials

Organise and coordinate the logistics for events / exhibitions / breakfast briefings

Required Skills

  • To be educated to a minimum of 'A' Level standard (including English)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the importance of branding and corporate identity
  • An understanding of how design techniques influence audience's decisions
  • The importance of inbound marketing and principles in an organisation
  • Knowledge of key technologies to support inbound marketing activity e.g HubSpot or equivalent
  • Knowledge of how to customize marketing content- specifically, website CTAs, blog outreach and marketing automation
  • Skills and Aptitudes required :

  • Excellent IT skills with specific experience of working with MS Office applications and design software applications such as Photoshop
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle a wide range of competing demands
  • Highly organised and can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong administration and organisational skills with and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work from a brief
  • Required Experience

  • Creativity with the ability to design and layout marketing documents
  • Working with digital applications and disciplines including video, audio / visual, and social media
  • The ability to communicate complex information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Exceptional writing and editing expertise, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our businesses across various types of customer facing content channels including print, web, and social media
  • Experience of how to nurture leads by using inbound dynamic workflows and converting them into customers
  • Desirable :

  • 2 years of inbound marketing / brand experience
  • Data-driven SEO analysis and optimization techniques
  • Administered Customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Knowledge of various paid marketing techniques and technologies, including paid search, retargeting, social network advertising
  • Personal Qualities required :

  • A positive team player
  • Demonstrable excellent interpersonal and networking / communication skills
  • Experienced and demonstrated initiative, sound judgement and a can do’ approach
  • Highly energetic and self-motivated
