Job Purpose

Our client is looking for a talented analytics professional to join their Business Intelligence Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the analytical partner for the Business Intelligence stakeholders, promoting data driven decision making
  • Delivery of advanced analytical projects within a fast moving environment
  • Application of data to areas such as campaign analysis, ROI and A / B testing, focused on our Business Intelligence product
  • Extracting and analysing very large and multi-dimensional data sets, working closely with internal units to drive insights and encourage more efficient and effective spend
  • Essential

  • Degree (or equivalent) in the quantitative areas or relevant experience gained in data analytics
  • Ability to deliver high quality work under pressure of deadlines
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to non-technical business people, both written and orally
  • Ability to see the "big picture", evaluate the business impact of issues and prioritize among many requests
  • Ability to turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations
  • Proficiency in extracting and manipulating large datasets using SQL / MicroStrategy (or similar)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Desirable

  • A passion for betting and gaming
  • Knowledge of the online poker / casino / sportsbook industries
  • Practical experience with statistical tools (SPSS, SAS, R, KNIME, other)
  • Experience in data mining / advanced analytics (clustering, regression, predictive models or similar)
