We are on the lookout for a Lead Linux / DevOps Engineer to work in Manchester. You'll be part of an exceptional team who are working with fantastic cutting edge technology, using AWS, Docker and Kubernetes to continue to develop their fantastic software to remain at the forefront of digital analytics.
The team are currently undergoing a migration to AWS meaning you'll have the chance to work with AWS implementation at scale, using tools like EC2, DynamoDB and Lambda.
In addition to the great Cloud opportunities on offer, you'll also need some experience in CI and CD pipelines, Configuration Management experience with Puppet ideally, but other tools still great and of course scripting experience with Bash and Python.
The ideal candidate will have come from a Linux Administration position and have a great understanding of Linux Infrastructure and have been working within a DevOps Environment and may have a passion for working within a microservice architecture moving forward.

As a Lead Engineer, you'll be reporting to the CTO and really driving the Development and Operations team through this really exciting time for the company.
Don't fear though if you think you may lose your hands on fun elements to DevOps Engineering. You are very much leading from the front and are hands on in the majority of all tasks as you encourage those with you to follow you.
