Role Purpose : A provider of global market leading software solutions to the Utilities Market, is looking for a Partnerships and Business Development Manager.
The role is to 1) implement a Partnership Programme, leading commercial negotiations with partners, such as product providers, system integrators, enablers and consultants and 2) To identify new sales leads through networking , attending industry events and research.
This is an exciting new role, and presents an exciting wide-ranging role for the person who becomes the Partnerships and Business Development role.

Gain competitor insight about where suppliers are in the buying cycle for S / W solutions
Engage with a network to identify current market activity and potential opportunities
Produce analysis on relevant market information
Attend events and networking opportunities where appropriate
Account manage existing partner relationships to ensure a rewarding partnership for both sides
Relationship build with all key stakeholders and influencers with potential partners
Assist with commercial negotiations
Identify areas for revenue growth and cross / up sell opportunities
Lead new product development, assist with creating marketing collateral and training team
Facilitate events that would showcase partnerships to our customers
Experience Required :
Have a sales background with experience of complex solution selling with account management and relationship selling style.
Minimum of 3 years utility industry experience.
Self-manage, motivated, driven, relationship builder, confident negotiator.
Technically aware and an understanding of software product integration.
