A leading global Insurance Company has a key new role in their newly opened Birmingham office sitting within their claims and underwriting back office operation.
You will support and analyse key claims and underwriting data within excel spreadsheets and internal systems. You will use an established system that has been purposely built for the business to facilitate central storage and analysis of detailed information provided by Coverholders and claims TPA's.
You will work closely with other areas of the business including the Delegated Coverholder Operations, Delegated Assurance, Claims Business Management teams and Coverholder Data Analysts to deliver the business vision for the collection, analysis and MI as defined by the business.
Working with the underwriting and claims teams you will gain an understanding of their data requirements, and any actions required to ensure the key data is uploaded to the system.
You will analyse the data to guarantee the key information is managed in a uniform way which is consistent with internal procedures.
Whilst doing this you will agree, communicate and document the data cleansing and business rules need to be applied to the data as it is entered to ensure that it results in a consistent format in the database and writing these rules into the templates.
To be considered you must have a high standard of excel experience ideally in a financial services environment where you are used to dealing with high levels of key data.
You must be able to harness technical knowledge of a system to be able to respond quickly to business needs. You will work with large amounts of detailed information and therefore must be able to focus on achieving a consistent high standard of quality and accuracy.
Although this role is starting as a 12 month FTC it is very likely this will be extended further either to a 24 month period or even a permanent role.
