    Key Responsibilities :

    Risk Assessment & Management :

  • To educate staff on the ERM framework and respective elements (e.g. risk assessments, loss event reporting, emerging risks process)
  • To facilitate the delivery of risk assessments and risk evaluation / assessment workshops
  • To provide practical advice and coaching to risk owners and risk managers in the development of risk mitigation strategies
  • Capturing and logging near misses / loss events :

  • Horizon scanning iro emerging risks, identification of relevant risks to the Managing Agency (and its syndicates) and analysis
  • Experience required :

  • To ensure risk events and emerging risks captured and documented within Risk databases, and where actions are agreed these are recorded and progress is reported against on an on-
  • going basis to management

  • Conduct Qualitative Reverse stress test workshops on an annual basis
  • Support the Validation Risk Manager in the Review of stress test framework / suite of tests
  • Risk Management Information collation, analysis and reporting :

  • To schedule, plan and track the timetable of risk management reporting (quarterly, and Annual)
  • To collect, analyse and report on risk information captured through risk assessments
  • To coordinate the analysis of risk events and near misses / link to risks on the risk register and conduct deep dives were necessary into
  • To gather functional reports, review content, and determine how the information in the packs should be used to feed into the risk register / risk assessment process
  • Own Risk & Solvency Assessment (ORSA) reporting processes :

  • To work with a range of risk, actuarial and finance professionals across the Managing Agency (MA) to bring together key data, metrics and dashboards to ensure the efficient and timely production of ORSA reports for the MA (syndicates under management).
  • Responsibility for the ORSA process and reporting for the managing agency and applicable syndicates under management

    Other :

  • Ensuring annual review of internal model and risk framework documentation
  • ERM presentation to new joiners
  • Attendance to Lloyd’s emerging risk workshops
  • Responsibility for the minimum standards owned by the RMF gap analyses, identification and management of gaps
  • To analyse and evaluate the risks on key strategic projects
  • Support the Validation manager in delivering required internal model validation work
