This is an exciting opportunity in MiltonKeynes for a Senior Systems Engineer.

Cummins Electrified Power are a leading provider offlexible battery solutions for demanding automotive and powerapplications .

  • By applying technical expertise on complex componentsor projects and working under minimal supervision
  • By applying specialized knowledge of engineeringprinciples and practices across various battery solution projects.
  • By providing input and managing the technicalprofile
  • By ensuring regulatory compliance of the product / project
  • By working with both internal and externalstakeholders
  • By performing DFMEA and root cause analysis
  • Qualifications

    Skills and Experience Required :

  • Understanding of basicelectrical circuits
  • Experience dealing withcustomers and suppliers
  • Hands-on testexperience, preferably mechanical and electrical
  • DFMEA experience
  • Experience with rootcause analysis procedures and tools
  • Experience dealing withstandards and regulations
  • Experience inprototyping
  • Understanding ofbatteries for automotive applications desirable
  • Understanding of basicstatistics desirable
  • Understanding ofbattery / BEV standards and regulations desirable
  • Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

    College,University, or equivalent degree in Engineering required.

    Compensation and Benefits

    In return we can offer an excellent salary of between £36000 and £45000 (dependenton experience)
