Role Summary

Cira Health Solutions is a leading provider of independent medical evaluations and services for a variety of industries across Canada.

We are looking to add a part-time receptionist to our Markham Assessment Center located at 175 Commerce Valley Drive West, Suite 400, Markham, ON L3T 7P6.

The successful candidate would be the Face of our organization. They would greet and check in all claimants and assessors whom are all medical practitioners to their scheduled appointment while able to manage the day to day duties of a receptionist e.

g answering phones, sending and receiving courier, completing reminder calls for upcoming assessments, up keep of assessment rooms etc.

This is a part-time position that would require the successful candidate to work mainly in our Markham location but have the flexibility to help in our Mississauga office as well.

The successful candidate must have the availability to work flexible hours Monday to Saturday between 8 : 00am to 6 : 00pm.

Work hours are a minimum of 20 hours a week with the opportunity to work up to 35 hours as required by the business.

Responsibilities :

  • Answering the phones at all times and returning all messages within defined service standards
  • Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail and courier
  • Distribute all hard copy medical packages for all services and update database with notes
  • Check in examinees and verify ID, update database note
  • Ensure all Intake forms are completed and tracked for internal assessments
  • Answering claimant questions and providing instructions
  • Some faxing, photocopying and scanning documents
  • Maintain the examination rooms and ensure public areas are tidy and presentable
  • Reminder calls
  • Recording appointment outcomes
  • Ordering or Taxis or translation services
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Requirements :

  • Minimum High School completion
  • 1 year Office Experience in a professional services environment
  • Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Professional and client-service oriented
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to adapt and adjust to manage work flow and customer service
