This is a 2 - 3 month paid internship. Salary : National Minimum Wage.
Key responsibilities of the role :
You will join the commercial team which is an exciting and dynamic environment in which individuals will learn quickly, gaining unique exposure to online and commercial disciplines.
The aspiration for this role is to support the Commercial team’s day to day account management activities and manage on site content
Day-to-day activities will include :
Handling and responding to direct emails from customers.
Reviewing other channels to manage customer enquiries, including engaging in online live chats’ to assist their comparison experience and generate sales.
Support with offer and pricing updates so that the company’s mobile phone sales and recycling comparison services are fully up to date and accurate.
Perform daily checks and updates to ensure the company has the most up to date prices for the mobile phone vertical.
Perform regular checks of the customer journey across the entire site to ensure all links are active and recommend next steps / liaise with the Development Team if there are any errors.
Record and monitor on site performance metrics to help understand the driving factors behind them
Commercial and Marketing Support
Help the wider team with commercially relevant activities.
Take ownership of editorial guide pages ensuring accuracy of pricing and package features.
Support the CRM Manager with creation of weekly email campaigns.
Liaise with the Content Marketing Executive on execution of social media competitions including idea generation, prize ideas and organisation of sending prizes to winner.
Supporting the Affiliate Marketing Manager with marketing support and offer roll-outs.
Working with external commercial partners to organise the creation and roll out of on-site advertising inventory
Content editing and creation
Writing copy around deals and offers in the Telcos / mobile phone space
Working with mobile phone recyclers to bring them onto the DTL platform
