The roles are to support our client on major finance integration and transformation projects. The individual will lead the PMO planning and execution and work closely with the Programme Manager and key stakeholders within finance and risk.

Working with a team of self-starters, you will be a natural problem solvers, collaborative, flexible, and not fazed by adversity or ambiguity.

This role will initially be either a 6 or 9 month contract, with potential for further contract extension to a maximum of 3 years.

Responsibilities will include :

  • Working closely with the Programme Manager and senior finance stakeholders to manage, maintain and report the requirements of the finance PMO to the central PMO team
  • Tracking and communicating appropriate performance measurements to project team, issues, risks and dependencies, including the production of progress reports.
  • Supporting the business through group wide change
  • Relationship management with key stakeholders and the leadership team
  • Managing your own deliverables
  • Preparation of meeting papers and packs for the team, checkpoint, working groups and steering committee meetings
  • Working with functional teams to align resources to integration plans and cost analysis
  • Communicating project priority and set project task priority for related teams
  • Preparing appropriate documentation to close out integration projects and facilitate effective hand-offs
  • Applying creative problem solving and analytical techniques
  • Defining process improvement and transformational opportunities
  • The Candidate

  • Strong PMO experience ideally within finance or risk integration or large change project
  • Experience at a financial services
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Working to tight deadlines within a fast paced and changing environment
  • Bias for action in times of ambiguity
  • Effective and collaborative communication and writing skills, with the ability to customise approach for a variety of audiences ranging from senior executives to junior resources
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision and manage tasks from start to finish
  • Ability to lead by example, demonstrating strong ethical standards, and effectively influence management in all professional interactions
