    Since 2016, External Affairs & Industry Purpose programme has been measuring the progress of the mobile industry’s impact through Industry Impact Report : the SDGs , accelerating the industry’s impact through Big Data for Social Good project, and showcased the mobile industry’s impact on the Sustainable Development Goals at several high-

    profile events such as UNGA, WEF Davos meetings and MWC Barcelona and through the #CaseForChange campaign.

    This is an exciting opportunity for the programme coordinator to gain insights and advance project management skills, working closely with the project managers and programme director.

    About the Role

    As a programme coordinator, you will provide support across the programme to the project managers and programme director.

    The role is based in London, and will be reporting into the project manager of International Organisations and Capacity Building.

    Furthermore, there will be opportunities to develop and advance project management skills on-the-job and through training, and travel opportunities.

    The Programme Coordinator is responsible for programme / project administration activities including, but not limited to, the following :

    Programme Management Office (PMO) support Work with the Programme Management Office (PMO) team and project managers to meet the PMO best practice on tracking, monthly programme reporting, action logs, risk management, change management and business planning.

    Procurement, Purchase Order and Invoicing Support project managers to meet procurement requirements (Statement of Work, Contract Approval Form, Tender), raise purchase orders and process invoices.

    Budget management support Provide support to project managers to plan, track and forecast expenditure to manage the budget and ensure maximum benefits for the project and programme.

    Reporting Support Schedule review meetings and ensure deadlines are met, provide support to prepare materials required for monthly programme reviews and other high-level meetings.

    Meeting Support Provide support with meeting setup, preparation (agenda setting, invites, collate / create slides, venue sourcing and setup etc), minute-taking and action tracking.

    Document management Work with the project managers to ensure that all project documentations and materials are stored in an agreed filing system and secure location, available to the members and accessible to the relevant programme members (Infocentre2, Sharepoint, Dropbox, etc)

    You will manage any other duties commensurate with the level as requested by line manager and programme director.

    You will need the following :

  • Proactive self-starter - You are highly motivated, accountable, demonstrating a can do attitude, proactively seeking clarification where needed, and operate without close day-to-day supervision
  • Excellent organisational skills ability to manage a number of concurrent requests with deadlines through organisation
  • Excellent writing and communications skills
  • Prioritisation skills proactively prioritise or seek prioritisation amongst competing concurrent demands
  • A team player build a collaborative working environment with colleagues across the organisation
  • Flexible and pragmatic approach to work
  • Excellent MS Office suite and skills Advanced Powerpoint, Excel and MS Project skills are advantageous
  • Great cultural awareness to be able to work with colleagues and stakeholders from around the world
  • Willingness to travel abroad from time to time
