We have an exciting opportunity for a Marking Officer to join Kidderminster College's Marketing department.
The Marketing Officer role will be working under supervision of the Marketing Manager, to help drive the recruitment of learners to the college (Full Time, Part Time, Apprenticeships) and also promote the college and its course offerings within the local area.
The post holder will inform and develop a school strategy that will maximise applications and recruitment from schools within the local area.
As Marketing Officer you will be responsible for maintaining proactive and effective partnerships with all local schools ensuring that potential students are given the opportunity to make a fully informed choice about their future.
As Marketing Officer you will also be required to provide full marketing assistance and to work proactively as part of the Marketing and college-
wide team. The successful candidate will be required to build relationships and work collaboratively with departments across the college such as Careers, Learner Services and Curriculum teams and departments.
This position will include overseeing the college’s marketing campaigns in line with the Marketing Strategy both internally and externally to communicate with learners, potential learners, schools, businesses, staff and stakeholders.
To be considered for this post you will be educated to degree (or equivalent level of professional qualification) in Marketing and you will be able to demonstrate understanding of the learner journey from application stage, induction and enrolment through to engagement.
The ability to work flexibly to meet changing needs and use initiative in order to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure will be essential.
The successful candidate will develop and deliver an annual plan of activities which meets the needs of all our partner organisations, the College’s recruitment targets and enhances our widening participation work.
Experience in use of packages such as InDesign, and Photoshop, experience of event management including organising, planning, delivering and attending associated event are desirable skills for this position.
