Lahpet is one of London’s only restaurants to specialise in authentic Burmese cooking.
Aiming to shine a light on this relatively untapped cuisine, Lahpet has been popularising traditional Burmese cooking by presenting Londoners with regional specialities with a hint of refinement and contemporary flare.
Owners Dan and Head Zaw both have Burmese heritage and are the driving forces behind the concept which was cultivated and received critical acclaim in its Hackney warehouse location in London Fields during 2017.
Lahpet opened its first permanent site in Shoreditch in early April and is now looking to hire an experienced Line to join the team.

High standards in food hygiene and health and safety.
An interest, understanding and passion for South East Asian cooking would be beneficial but is not a prerequisite.
