A Specialist Engineer is required to join the PLM programme team, who are responsible for all aspects of PLM toolset selection, implementation, use and support.
The focus is to move Engineering Operations out of their current toolsets and move them into a PLM suite which will open opportunities for more efficient delivery of our vehicle programmes delivery great products faster to our customer.
The team is employed to replace a complex array of legacy systems inherited as part of the previous separation. The role of Specialist Engineer will support the delivery of projects and their inter-
dependencies in support of specific business strategies. Typically, this will involve the planning, co-ordination & delivery of specific projects within the PLM team.
Specialist Engineer Skills & Experience
The Data Configuration and Validation Team are responsible for all aspects of Data Management, Product Modelling, Vehicle configuration in the virtual world, and validation of the digital mock ups of future vehicles.
Working with the Product Modelling team as your core customer, they expect a PLM system that will support them to define requirements for virtual vehicle specifications, maintaining product structures to the latest programme intent and validating content to enable robust virtual assessments to take place.
