Job Description

We are seeking to recruit talented professionals as we continue to help our clients deliver complex IT programmes. Based in the South West you will consult for prestigious Defence and Security sector clients, lead teams and collaborate with sector and service specialists from across PA.

You will take on key roles in areas such as business analysis, solution and data architecture, systems engineering, Agile delivery and business change.

  • An ambitious consultant who has a passion for solving client problems and enjoys working in a fast paced environment
  • Someone self-motivated with an unwavering sense of pride in their work, a clear record of success and a focus on achieving results
  • Stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and persuade at all levels of staff seniority
  • Ability to communicate complex business issues clearly in speech and in writing
  • An appreciation of the commercial, people and organisational aspects of your work, including the whole life of a solution (business case through design and delivery into operations)
  • Knowledge of the general principles of information technology such as its role in decision support, methods of data capture, storage and retrieval, transactional processing and workflow
  • A deep understanding of the technologies you have worked with and an ability to dive into detail when required
  • Experience of leading teams on large programmes and projects
  • Ability to manage own time effectively in an environment of competing client demands and time-critical schedules, prioritising simultaneous project work and rapidly evaluating alternative action plans
