An opportunity is immediately available for an ambitious and driven Structural Engineer to join a highly respected, growing multi-

disciplinary consultancy in Birmingham. Owing to a healthy and increased work load, our client is looking to welcome the successful applicant to play an important part in the delivery of a wide range of projects across a number our sectors.

Our client boasts an impressive client list and you will have the opportunity to aid the delivery of a range of projects from inception to completion.

In order to be considered for this Structural Engineer role you will :

  • Hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Possess 4 years’ experience within a UK based engineering consultancy
  • Possess a proficient understanding of AutoCAD
  • Experience with TEKLA and Tedds is desirable though not essential
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Possess a desire to become a chartered engineer
  • Key responsibilities of this Structural Engineer role include :

  • Carry out structural design and analysis on a range of structures
  • Liaise closely with a wide range of valued clients
  • Attend site projects and design meetings as required
  • Write reports and carry out calculations
  • Work alongside experienced and chartered engineers
  • Assist with bid proposals
