Job Description This post is based at a Corporate client in Central London. The Occupational Health Advisor will work collaboratively with members of the HCA-
Occupational Health Team to promote and maintain the health and wellbeing of HCA employees via the delivery of a comprehensive occupational health service.
The post holder and will be responsible for providing pre-placement medical reviews, staff vaccination programme, sharps injury advice and case management.
On a day to day basis they will work closely with the Senior Occupational Health Advisor (SOHA) and Practice Nurse OHPN).
The OHA will be a key point of contact for day to day OH issues for the allocated Facilities; dealing with, resolving and / or escalating as appropriate to the Occupational Health Manager (OHM).
Day to day support and mentoring will be provided by the SOHA.
Duties & Responsibilities Clinical :
employees and escalation to SOHA or OHM of significant identified health problems.
vision screening, in accordance with Roodlane + / or HCA Policies and Roodlane PGDs / PSDs.
Facilities in the South and to provide information to the SOHA to support quarterly reporting.
audiometry & hearing conservation; Food handling; EPP requirements. This would include
maintaining of appropriate registers.
exposed staff in accordance with Roodlane + / HCA Policy.
