The Allied Health Professions National Programme Health Education England AHP Project Manager
Perhaps one of the fastest developing groups of professions is looking to recruit a dynamic and proactive programme team to drive delivery of an ambitious programme of work to help realise the potential of this essential group of professions.
Under the banner of AHPs into Action’ the post holder will support the Programme Lead to run the programme, maximising opportunities and ensuring an effective and efficient programme team to optimise our delivery to improve care for people and population.
Experience as an Allied Health Professional is not essential, however this and some experience of health care would be an asset.
It will be your energy, attitude, enthusiasm and project management skill which will be most important. Our ability to work across programs, engage our stakeholders and the voice of people and populations will be the key to the success of our work and so your ability to network will be important.
Based within one of Health Education England National offices, the postholder will be required to travel.
Allied Health Professions are : art therapists, dramatherapists, music therapists, chiropodists / podiatrists, dietitians, occupational therapists, operating department practitioners, orthoptists, osteopaths, prosthetists and orthotists, paramedics, physiotherapists, diagnostic radiographers, therapeutic radiographers, speech and language therapists.
Interviews will be held in August.
