This role averages between 30 60 hours potentially earning circa £600pw, working in a fast-paced retail and DIY sector, across multiple categories, which may / will involve working away from home (accommodation and breakfast will be provided).

Dee Set is a dynamic and well-established company providing retail merchandising support for some of the UK’s best-known retailers and brands.

It is a chance to put your skills, experience and instincts to the test. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of Range Change and projects to maximise the store ROI.

You will be leading either a team or part of (depending on your experience)

At Dee Set, we combine the roles of merchandising and installer to create a highly skilled colleagues.

Main duties include :

  • Lead and / or supports the retailer’s project / store & Dee Set merchandising teams in order to delivery key projects to high standards.
  • Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks.
  • Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance
  • Communicates deadlines to team members
  • Conducts team sessions (start-mid-end of shift) to update members on best practices, achievements and continuing expectations
  • Provides quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints
  • Building a strong team spirit and a network of relationships
  • Checking all equipment installations to ensure they have been installed to the manufacturers specification
  • Project sign off
  • Essential :

  • Storage Equipment Installers Registration Scheme - Supervisor (SEIRS)
  • We are looking for candidates who have a retail background, with experience of leading teams.

    Able to work flexible hours over nights, days and weekends. Excellent understanding of the English Language both written and verbal.

    Must be able to understand and read from planograms and communicate effectively.

    Desirable not Essential :

  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
  • First Aider at Work
  • Working at Height and harness trained
  • Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS)
  • Candidates who hold a valid UK driving licence with their own transport along with the willingness to use their vehicle for work.
