Paddy Power Betfair are looking for Optimisation Specialist who can join our team of UX Research and Optimisation professionals.

We are looking for someone who is passionate for optimisation and the results it can give to our business.

As an Optimisation Specialist, you will play an important role in utilising a variety of AB / MVT testing tools and strategies across our desktop and mobile sites.

You will work alongside a number of key stakeholders across our business channels to help identify the best opportunities for AB / MVT testing.

Working with a senior optimisation specialist to help build and facilitate testing aligned with our product roadmap.

Responsibilities :

  • Help guide the process in identifying opportunities for testing across all regions
  • Work with analytics platforms, customer insight data and UX research findings to help develop tests for the backlog.
  • Effectively prioritise and help design, build and roll out of AB / MVT tests
  • Collaborate closely with our internal and 3rd party Dev / QA teams to ensure tested is executed flawlessly
  • Work closely with UX / UI teams to help guide our product managers in the right direction
  • Productively brainstorm opportunities for the optimisation backlog.
  • Establish recommendations on test results and present back to stakeholders.
  • Technical Competencies

  • Experience using with optimisation testing tools (Maxymiser, Optimizely, Qubit)
  • Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, JavaScript, etc)
  • Good understanding of Google Analytics or other analytics toolsets
  • Strong communication skills with a high level of motivation
  • Evidence of being an analytical decision maker
  • Desired Experience and Qualifications

  • Related Bachelor’s or Masters degree in statistical, business or marketing discipline
  • Experience in a role where quantitative skills are applied
  • Being able to mine for your own data to support analysis
  • Some experience in product management processes
  • Experience or knowledge of Agile methodologies
