This is a 3month paid internship offering £18K pro rata, followed by a permanent position all being well.
How you can expect to spend your day;
Identify, engage and qualify new prospects with a good fit to the businesses award winning payment products to create highly relevant sales opportunities to the UK sales team.
Manage daily workload to ensure calling activity is focussed on priority lead conversion using the in-house Lead Generation tools and Customer Retention Management system.
Daily calls to prospect leads including out-bounds, events, key campaigns and cold calling with a view to identifying key information, to allow qualification to early stage opportunity creation and first meeting opportunity where relevant.
Use a variety of research tools, systems and call techniques to gather initial information on prospects to qualify them for further business development.
Daily utilisation of social media tools including LinkedIn, Twitter and Artesian to research key contacts within organisations that are part of the decision making / buying process within the prospect organisation.
Production and completion of emails to prospects daily to introduce the company services or talk about a specific campaign or event.
Educate prospects on the business and drive engagement for the key offering from both a UK and Global perspective through calls, emails, event networking and online representation.
Support at key prospect events throughout the year and provide demos of products and tools where required.
Ensure all prospect records and all activity is accurate and of the standard required by the business always.

A passion for working in Payments and Technology
A desire for a career in sales
An academic qualification at graduate level e.g. Bachelor level is desirable
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written with attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisation and planning skills
Ability to prioritise workload to ensure timely achievement of targets set
Good IT skills across all Microsoft packages
Ability and willingness to work with own initiative and to occasionally work late or outside the confines of the job description
