The UK CIB HR Department supports CIB and BP2S staff and managers in London and Scotland, providing them with a full range of strategic advisory and transactional services (in terms of payroll, reward, pension and benefits, recruitment, career management, learning & development and employee relations).
In regular contact with the Group HR Department of BNP Paribas S.A. (headquartered in Paris), CIB HR is the entry point for all CIB employees on any HR issue.
The team in London comprises of circa 60 HR professionals. There is also a small HR team based in Glasgow supporting BP2S managers and staff.
There are currently twelve UK HR Business Partners each covering their own specific business / function and three HR Advisors who are responsible for small businesses / functions but also focus on supporting the UK HR Business Partners.
The London HR team requires a Senior ER Adviser to cover a period of maternity leave. The requirement of the role is to provide technical employee relations advice to support the offering provided by the HR Business Partners and the HR Advisors.
The role will provide dedicated support to BP2S as well as supporting the CIB HR team.
Overall Job Purpose
Providing practical and strategic advice on the full range of ER matters and delivery of a broad ER agenda for CIB (including BP2S) London and Scotland.
g. disciplinary, grievances, litigation case management, restructures / re-organisations, performance management etc. In particular the role requires front line management of all disciplinary and redundancy exercises
