Your role This is your opportunity to join Deloitte's Human Capital practice as part of the Return to Work programme. In Human Capital we believe there is a constant need for organisations to change and adapt to be successful.

We are part of a market leading global Human Capital practice, which draws upon the skills and experience of more than 10,300 practitioners in over 140 countries.

As part of the programme, we are open to applicants within our Organisation Transformation and Talent teams, HR Consulting teams and Actuarial, Rewards & Analytics teams.

Within our Human Capital practice, you will work with our clients to shape, assure and deliver change by focusing on the role people play in driving business performance.

You will help them organise, motivate, lead and develop their people to deliver their business strategy. You will also help our clients gain market advantage through a combination of our skills in actuarial, analytics, leadership development, talent, organisation design, HR effectiveness, programme leadership and strategic change management.

This distinctive blend of skills across our 800 UK Human Capital practitioners will enable you to play a leading role within our wider firm in some of the world’s largest and most challenging business transformation programmes.

Within our roles, you will :

  • Support the delivery of client facing projects and programmes
  • Work with project teams to develop client recommendations, applying a combination of industry knowledge, tools and technology;
  • and prepare documents, presentations and other high quality outputs

  • Contribute to the development of our Human Capital propositions to support our clients
  • Support business development by contributing to proposals and bids
  • Manage diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.

  • Location : London, with some travel to client siteWork pattern : Fixed-term part-time : the programme runs for 25 weeks from 17 September 2018 / 21 January 2019 ;
  • participants will work 80% (or 4 days a week) although we will always consider a full-time, 5-day contract if you prefer.

    Your professional experience You will ideally have some experience of working on organisational restructuring projects, target operating models, the job design and creation process, structural and regulatory reform, business readiness for change, change impact assessment, training needs analysis, designing and implementing programmes with talent operating models, learning and cultural change, succession management and change leadership, programme leadership.

    Experience of strategic development, planning and implementation for clients. You will also :

  • Demonstrate awareness and understanding of HR and the function it performs in a business context
  • Have experience of working in an HR environment, either in another consulting firm or in-house
  • Have a proven track record of contributing to the delivery of HR related workstreams and deliverables, working to tight timelines
  • Demonstrate effective facilitation, communication and data analysis skills and have a natural ability to influence others
  • Apply knowledge and expertise in solving business issues in a range of client scenarios, focusing on high quality deliverables
  • Have experience of managing client expectations and relationships, building client and internal networks based on credibility and trust
  • Demonstrate an understanding of risk management, and how this is relevant to our work on a day to day basis.
