It's over 80 years since Billy Butlin changed the face of the British holiday. With an aim to make the seaside break accessible for all, his resorts became the "go to" place for British families for many years.
He wanted to create a place of colour and happiness where families could enjoy time together with great entertainment laid on.

Role Purpose :
The Digital Marketing Manager is a fixed term maternity contract and will be responsible for leading a digital team and develop a continuously improving on-
line experience for the Butlin's brand
Lead a team of four, including web experience managers and a web optimisation manager
Supporting the Head of Marketing as day-to-day Sales & Marketing project lead for our new mobile-first website, ensuring buy-
in from all key stakeholders and deliver strong performance measured against clear key performance indicators.
Own the personalised guest journey through our website ensuring the online journey meets their expectation and helps them to buy.
Key involvement in delivering the tariff target for the web channel along with a subsequent reduction in customer care calls as guests increasingly go online for information they need or actions they need to complete.
Ensure new product developments and content are presented clearly and promptly on our web sites with buy-in from key stake-
holders, ensuring brand integrity and identity is maintained.
Ensure all pricing and offers are presented clearly and persuasively through our various web journeys
Manage our agency partners such as web development, search engine optimisation and multi-variant testing agencies
Ensure there is a clear roadmap of testing and learning to ensure our websites improve all the time.
Manage the web budgets and prioritise other resources based on business need.
The Person :
You will enjoy understanding things from a guest's perspective and will be adept at telling a compelling online story. It will need an outstanding candidate to be able to hit the ground running to complete some critical projects and lead a successful team.
We're looking for some-one who has experience of leading a similar web team in a fast-moving experience or retail-based brand, together with experience in launching and migrating new websites.
They will demonstrate a genuine interest in the Butlin's brand and in staying up to date on new digital developments.
They will need to be able to build strong relationships quickly and to work collaboratively to deliver some critical projects and targets.
